What is LULIA application about
Lulia is an application developed exclusively for Sani-Fontaines and its main use is to keep tracks of all the water drinking fountains around you. using Google Map, LULIA will show you all the drinking water spots the closest to you.

Lulia works from anywhere in the world, not just in your local neighborhood parks and other outdoor spaces. You can spot the drinking fountains when you’re travelling too.

Imagine if you were able to know ahead of time, where you’ll find a place to fill your reusable bottle as you travel, be it a work-related trip or a vacation where you are exploring a brand-new environment.
It’s very useful to know where you’ll find drinking water, you won’t be forced to buy bottled water during your trip and each fill that you do, means that much less disposable bottles ending in a landfill somewhere.

This app was created to evolve with the users, because it allows you to add or edit drinking water stations.
It allows you also to add characteristics, so you can note if the water is free, filtered, refrigerated, if sparkling water is offered, etc.

Sani-fontaines has made it its mission to give access to drinking water to as many people as possible. We want everyone to be able to quench their thirst with great tasting drinking water, clean of dirt or contaminants, at work, at school, at the airport, at a public park, EVERYWHERE!
OUR GOAL
To allow you to easily get a water refill with a reusable container of your own, bottle, cup, glass, which is financially beneficial for all users and often, for employers too.
Lulia is a fitting extension of that goal, helping to reduce the need to buy bottled water anywhere you are, by showing you everywhere you can find drinking water.
why lulia
It comes from Aqua di Julia (or Lulia), the very first aqueduct ever built by men: in 33 BC, Rome builds the first aqueduct to be able to bring clean drinking water to all in the city. The aqueduct, meant to preserve drinking water quality, stretched for 23 km long. It had many extensions over the years and was used for centuries!
AN INSPIRING STORY!
The story of this aqueduct is more than two thousand years old and greatly impressed us. Just like us, Romans at the time had figured out the importance of getting quality drinking water to their population. This is what inspired Lulia: an application that puts you in contact to all the drinking stations plugged in existing water lines and aqueducts.

Once downloaded, you can create a profile directly through the application or use your Google or Facebook account to log in.
This is a very light app that only takes a few minutes to install.
It respects your privacy as well.

Participate Actively!
As a user, you’ll be able to edit existing drinking spots as well as add your own and indicate characteristics, such as:
- Filtered water
- Flavors available
- Dog bowl
- Bottle required
- Etc.
All the options are under FILTERS. Explore your own area, add your favorite drinking points if they’re not already there. By participating actively, you feed the ever growing useful information and everyone will be better for it!
