UV or Ultraviolets exists in 3 types: UV-A, UV-B<\/a><\/strong> and UV-C<\/a><\/strong>. The first two are responsible for sunburns and sometimes cancers. It is now possible to reproduce those UV-C on a smaller scale with UV-C lamp<\/a><\/strong>, and it’s very useful to kill bacteria such as E.Coli. Hospitals have been using this technology more and more, to sterilise operating rooms and patients’ room since UV-C light kills nearly instantaneously any bacteria or viruses that are exposed, rendering them dead or inert at 99.99 % rate. This consitutes a major game changer in terms of time compared to manual clean up, which implies a full team, lots of chlorine and time.<\/p>\n\n\n
